Ecstasy

Hair across face,
sheets spun,
sweat,
satisfaction.
Longing for other
traps more than passion,
destroy that and be
your best lover.
Hold Beloved’s hand
by taking your own-
Ecstasy requires only One.

Ravishing Journey

In the moment you stopped
and saw me,
I knew Spirit was there
galloping between blissful hearts and keen eyes.
Explanations, unnecessary,
the impact of presence and recognition
loud.
We’ve both learned to ride
the untameable mustang-
no cloth. no leather. no fear. between.
With fur and flesh and speed and wind,
muscle gripping muscle, fingers braided in mane,
bodies leaping..
the greatest lone expanse breaks open,
a beauty possessing and unfolding into One…
Few comprehend where we have been.
In honor of sharing this ravishing journey,
thank you.

The Stillpoint

There is a point
at which we stop looking out
for yes
for okay
for be mine,
when need dissolves,
yearning cuts loose, and
hope and expectation walk away.
While strength climbs in the window
and peace holds us close,
the hunt for validation ceases,
dulling the barb of acceptance..
With that, a new sun
around which all else turns,
offers light,
ever undiminished,
reflecting even in night through a softly eager moon,
an illuminated way.

In this place

Jump off the merry-go-round.
That common ride dulls the senses,
weakens the heart.
There’s endless beauty
in walking the path with Beloved,
every step a discovery.
Depart from good and bad
wrong and right
righteous and evil,
Find Love
in dawn’s greeting,
the wind sway of redwood,
and breaking waves rolling white..
Beyond the two-sided trap,
One.
Here, laughter resonates, full,
touch lingers into the unconscious,
and limits, like toppling dominoes,
care not for your fears–
In this place,
there are none.

Come Back

And who ever taught you
you weren’t enough?
Taught you what about you
was ugly
or wrong
or missing
or un-lady-like or
not-man-enough
or too sensitive
or crazy?
And when, dear one, did you start
believing them?
Because the fullness of you,
the whole spectrum of your Being,
is exactly what you are called here to be.
Shunning the calling, you shut the door on your Self.
Come back,
your spark is needed.

Center of Storm Wind

Standing at the center of storm wind
bending blasting spinning..
hair blowing sideways with treetops and grass..
limbs clack over head, needles fly,
birds navigate through added force and necessity

Take off shoes, and penetrate that place with your whole being-
offer dynamic stillness while the stir carries everything away.
No one can do it for you.

an ancient imagined sorrow

≈ Comments Off on an ancient imagined sorrow

The loosening grip of an ancient imagined sorrow
frees up
the rolling giggles of a belly forgetting to stand sentry
against a world prepared to rip everything apart.
Annihilation lays waste to whatever weakens,
and the rebuild, oh the rebuild,
brings unshakable bones, windows welcoming sky,
framing blue and star and cloud,
stained glass casting colored light in beams
where acoustics music cries to court
carry every soulful voice
to heavens protective of all that’s sacred and immortal.

Where no thing matters

Who ever taught you
your life is worth so little?
Not meaning your stuff,
your interests, your thoughts-
those are unimportant-
but You.
Life creates nothing less than Itself.
You shine
from your eyes, your smile,
each inspiration.
Where no thing matters,
we all meet here,
and the step of your bare foot,
the mark of your passing,
carries bliss forward.
Funny to question worth
of the rising sun.

life carries me

if you reach for me
i probably won’t be there-
relationship with the invisible,
the resounding bell,
jubilant and soft,
rings..
no asking for the infinite
from you
or anyone else-
beyond the expected
belonging begins..
done with looking
outward
for you to meet me
i surrender
to something so much bigger
life carries me.
with no better partner
in all the world, a hand always to hold,
i’m drawn inward,
in a spiral inscribing
what has no bounds-
you’ll come and go
and i’ll continue..
gift me with your presence,
and i, you with mine,
the momentary dance,
timeless,
one heart and another,
breath
unto breath, spinning on

Tear them Asunder

I am not the fantasy
in your head.
Not savior, not goddess, not whore.
This demon you will wrestle alone.
I’m neither an answer nor a mistake.
Take those cords you wrap yourself in
and cut them,
they’ve no use for tying up dreams.
For that which you seek,
you already walk in the heart of. And
the blinders obscuring your knowing
require your own two bare hands- Go,
tear them asunder
and be free.
